Q.  Does Color matter?

A.  as a visual artist, i have to say 'yes', emphatically. we each of us see it differently too. i see more colors than most people, and they are always changing, perhaps that is why i like visual art. i find it interesting that the colors we see are supposedly just a result of our visual wetware (retina etc) and i wonder what things would look like seen through different eyes. i try to craft my work so that it would be interesting to a variety of different types of equipment, and not just human eyes. i think i got the idea to do this from my scientific education, i learned to use spectroscopes and other optical detection machinery before i became really interested in visual arts as a career and it was the awareness that there is more than one way of looking at a picture that motivated my transformation from a science minded person into an artist.
